DualCore is a new blanket carcass developed and patented by Printec. The DualCore concept is the result of extensive research and development along with collaboration with printers around the world. DualCore is not a blanket, but rather a construction technique that can be applied to any Printec blanket.

Printers are always struggling to reach the best compromise between print quality and durability, as these features often are not available in the same blanket. DualCore technology changes this scenario. By changing the position of the compressible layer, and adding a second compressible layer, Printec has been able to significantly increase durability while decreasing dot gain and improving print contrast.
